Frequently Asked Questions

We believe great design starts with open communication. Don’t see your question below or still have more? We’re here to help—just ask!

  • As early as possible! If doing a remodel or a new build, it is so beneficial to bring on an interior designer at the beginning of the project. We can work directly with architects and engineers to ensure the home is functional for you and all the little details are addressed up front vs after the work has been completed. This can help you save on potential mistakes or rework in the future of the project. By bringing us on early, we can make sure the construction plans are thorough & have taken the design and functional use of each space into consideration. We consider us all on the same team & can help out with communication between all parties, such as the contractor, architect, etc. We help make sure we stay on timeline, budget, and design!

  • Yes, we do charge $350 for up to a 2-hour consultation to swing by your space and chat about your project. This investment ensures that you'll receive valuable insights and recommendations tailored to your needs. During this meeting, we’ll discuss ideas, estimates, and we’ll measure your space, setting the stage for a successful design journey ahead.

  • Our standard design process usually takes between 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the scope. If you've got a big project with construction in the mix, we'll sync up with your contractor to nail down dates and deadlines.

  • We present one design for each room, designed in its entirety so that you are able to see the full, cohesive picture. We do offer a round of revisions. If additional revisions are needed or need to source new items not originally in scope, this would be consider a change order & will result in more hours spent on the project.

  • We can! For us to work directly with your contractors would be tracked under our ‘Construction Administration’ service. We liaise with contractors and make frequent site visits. Your communication with us is vital so that we can relay questions and concerns to the appropriate parties.
